The enuresis alarm is an incontinence aid that alerts when wetness comes into contact with the sensor pad. The chair alarm can provide early warning for individuals who are prone to incontinence. This system reduces the need for physical checks being made by carers and also helps retain privacy.
How the enuresis alarm works
The pad can be placed on the cushion of a chair to provide early warning that wetness has been detected.The sensors in the pad automatically transmit an alert when this happens.
The alert can be send to an in-house carer preventing the individual from having to wait until the wetness is noticed. The alarm can be set up to sound beside the bed or can transmit a signal to elsewhere in the building or to a mobile telephone or pager.
An alternative option is to have the alert sent through to trained Operators in our 24hour Monitoring Centre who can then notify your carer. This can reduce the need for physical checks being made by carers and therefore helps retain a greater degree of privacy for the individual. An additional benefit of this option is that a log can be kept showing when the enuresis alarm was changed.
