Telealarm Carephone 74 GSM

The Telealarm Carephone 74 GSM is a telecare alarm system that enables people to lead independent lives. The system can be used in any situation that a person needs assistance and can not reach a telephone or otherwise access help. The Telealarm Carephone 74 system consists of two parts:

a) a Carephone 74 base unit 

b) a portable alarm button which can be worn as a pendant, as a wristband or clipped to clothing.

If assistance is needed, one press of the alarm button on either the base unit or portable alarm button will send an immediate alert from the Carephone 74 to our 24/7 Monitoring Centre.  

The Carephone 74 offers a variety of innovative functions, with the focus on flexible operation. The device conforms to protection class IP32, which protects against damage caused by environmental influences such as dust or dirt. The Carephone 74 unit is designed to be sat on a flat surface and can also be wall mounted, which can therefore be installed according to the user’s preference.

The device communicates over GSM (Mobile Network), and offers three programming options: Remote programming from our 24hr Carelink Monitoring Centre and the TeleAlarm Cloud Services platform, and locally via the Configuration Manager software.

24/7 Monitoring of your Telealarm Carephone 74 GSM

24/7 Monitoring is the direct connectivity between the clients home and our dedicated 24hr Monitoring centre. When a call is received our dedicated responders will take the appropriate steps to ensure help or assistance is obtained efficiently. Every situation is different, but help could be contacting a relative/neighbour/friend or indeed the emergency services if necessary. The connection is established through the Telealarm Carephone 74 Base unit.

I want to review. ordered online. Box received within one business day. Had issue with post because they tried to deliver when I was out. They took box to post office where I had to collect it. Not the end of the world. This device is easy to setup only one plug. They tell you in the instructions to give it 3 minutes to get steady lights but in reality it only took 30 seconds. Pressed the button and the gentleman was saying hello straight away. Very good but be aware of the post office if you are not home.
